Thank you for all your kind words and offers of help. The fire, or actually the soot, has permeated all surfaces of our animal hospital. Our contents are probably a 100% loss. We are juggling so many adjustors that our heads are spinning.

The good news is that we have been offered a place to set up our business! Jersey Village Animal Hospital has graciously offered the use of their beautiful new facility. We are thrilled! Jersey Village Animal Hospital is located close by and just south of the golf course in Jersey Village. There is easy access via 290.

We will resume seeing clients on November 10, 2008 at our new location at Jersey Village Animal Hospital. Our number will remain the same, 281-890-7257 but we have only one incoming line, so please be patient with us.

Steeplechase Animal Hospital suffered smoke damage from a fire in our shopping center this past weekend and will be closed while repairs are being made.

On late Saturday afternoon (Nov. 1), a contractor on the roof sparked a fire from welding. Our staff quickly moved animals out of the building; the pets are all home and safe. There were no injuries to our staff. We had mostly heavy smoke damage.

Cotton Restoration is handling the debris removal and right now things are sort of chaotic. Fortunately we have remote storage of our computer data.

We don't know how long we will be out of commission. All electronics have already been removed for cleaning/restoration, including phone and fax and electricity is not on. All insulation and ceiling tiles have been removed.
